Warner West Updates
December 2nd, 2011

On Saturday the girls emerged with two victories.  First the girls opened with a hard fought 3-2 win over the Pacific Steelers.  Jessyka Holt scored the game winner in the third period to get the Warriors the important two points.  Jessica Sibley added a goal and an assist and Alexis Larson also scored for the Warriors.  Jade Walsh picked up the victory in goal.  On Saturday night the girls defeated the Minnesota Thoroughbreds 8-1.  Ivana Bilic, Mackenzie Ebel, & Sam Sutherland each had 2 goals a piece.  Heather Berzins and Jessyka Holt also found the back of the net.  On Friday the Warriors opened with a 1-1 tie vs. the Calgary Edge.  Brittney Sawyer got the girls on the board in the second period and Edge tied the game up in the third period.  Both teams had chances but the game ended in a 1-1 tie.  Jade Walsh earned the point with solid goaltending. Tomorrow morning the girls finish up the weekend vs. the first place Balmoral Hall Blazers.
