Games in Calgary
October 28th, 2014

Warriors started their weekend in Calgary by playing against St. Fx from Edmonton on Friday October 31st. Warriors had a good start of the game but could not put the puck in the net. Score was 1-1 after the first period, Warrior goal was scored by Bryn Labbe. In the 2nd period Warriors were more successful with scoring leaving the score 2-3 for the Warriors after second period was over. Goals scored by Becky Davidson and another one from Bryn Labbe. Final score of the game was 5-2, Warriors last two goals scored by Delaney Ross and Sarah Stuehr.

Girls stayed overnight with families in Calgary area, and came back well fed and rested on Saturday morning. Puck dropped 10:45am for the Warriors first game against Banff Academy this year. Final score 16-0 for the Warriors. Becky Davidson and Kennedy Ganser both got a hattrick. Two goals scored by Sarah Stuehr, Lindsay Weech, and Shae Labbe. Single goals scored by Avery Kocon, Jane Jacobs, Sydney Hill, and Bryn Labbe.

Warriors played their last game of the tournament against Calgary Edge. The game was pretty even and both teams were competing hard. The Warriors were able to get two goals, scored by the Labbe twins; Shae and Bryn. Final score of the game 2-1 for Warner!

Girls are now heading home for another week of practices. Warriors will be getting a little break from games, they will get to go home for a long weekend next week. Thanks for everyone that came out to support us this weekend in one way or another!
